Leola H. Gallagher, 83, of Eau Claire died Wednesday, February 17, 2010 at Syverson Lutheran Home with her husband by her side.   

She was born in Eau Claire on November 21, 1926, the daughter of Gustave and Marthra (Quast) Belter.  

She graduated from Eau Claire Senior High in 1944.   

Leola married William Gallagher on December 1, 1951, in Eau Claire.

Leola is survived by her husband, William; two daughters, Patricia Gallagher of Alamenda, CA and Jane (Martin) Dutra-Zumbrunnen of Phoenix, AZ; a sister, Florence Williams of Whitehall, NY; two brothers, Walter (Margaret) Belter of Rockville, Maryland and Everett Belter of Lady Lake, FL; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Private Graveside services will be held at Lakeview Cemetery.
