Blake Lee Scot Mares, 23, of Eau Claire passed away on October 20th, 2017. He was born on May 12th, 1994 to parents, Besheka and Glenn, and was raised in Eau Claire Wisconsin. Blake was known for being a jokester, always having a smile on his face along with a contagious laugh. His beautiful smile will always be remembered. He loved playing video games, basketball and a newfound love for cooking. He also had a huge passion for music. Blake was sensitive and had a big heart. It was easy for him to form relationships with anyone. He was a listener as well as having the passion to talk. He was loyal to his family and friends. His proudest and happiest moment was the day he welcomed his daughter Briella; his reason for life. Blake graduated from McKinley Charter in 2012, he was also enrolled in the heating and cooling program. He was an outstanding father, son, brother, uncle and friend. He is survived by his parents, Beskeka and Glenn; his daughter, Briella (Leah); brother, Gage (Cora); and sisters, Morgan, Courtney, Monique and Sidney; his uncle, Elijah (Jennifer); grandparents, Catherine and Scot; along with niece, Evora. He is also survived by his Aunt Georgina; Uncle Greg (Amanda); cousins, Marcqus (Danielle), Demetria (Isaac), Nathanial, Daminiqus , Gregory, Mirage, and Sierra; as well as friends who turned into family Aunt Kelly, Mandi and the kids, in addition to many other family and friends. Please come pay your respects on Thursday, November 30th, 2017, from 4pm to 7pm at Faith Lutheran Mission Church located at 1704 Hogeboom Ave, Eau Claire, WI 54701.
