Glen Nale

Glen A. Nale, 71, of Eau Claire, died Thursday, August 13, 2015, at Mayo Clinic Health Systems-Eau Claire. He was born in Eau Claire, on November 21, 1943, a son of Earl and Olive (Snyder) Nale. Glen married Kathryn Lind on April 2, 2008, in Las Vegas. Glen worked for 3M for 41 years and continued to work until his passing. Glen enjoyed working on both boat motors and car engines, painting cars, fishing, ice fishing and especially deer and duck hunting. He raised racing pigeons and was a member of the Westconsin Pigeon Club. Having his pilot’s license, Glen enjoyed flying. He was also a member of the E.A.A. (Experimental Aircraft Association). Glen also loved Elvis Presley music. Glen is survived by his wife, Kathryn; four daughters, Kimberly Newhouse of Zeeland, MI, Kristine Nale of Holland, MI, Rochelle (Lee) Andress of Eau Claire and Rachel (Sam Woods) Nale of Eau Claire; five grandchildren, Joshua (Erin) Andress, Heather Newhouse, Jared Andress, Jenna Andress and Nathan Newhouse; two great-grandchildren, Mazie and Meila Andress; best friend, Richard “Dick” Kock; many cousins, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Lamoine and Eugene Nale. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Monday, August 17, 2015, at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home, 814 First Ave. in Eau Claire. A Funeral Service will be held at 7 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home, with Pastor Tim Haugen officiating. A private burial will take place in Lakeview Cemetery in Eau Claire.
