Kyle W. Whitesel, age 51, of Eau Claire, passed away peacefully of a heart condition on Monday, May 22, 2017, at Clearwater Care Center, Eau Claire. Kyle was born on November 14, 1965, in Battle Creek, MI, to Elden and Kathryn (Bone) Whitesel. He grew up in the Chicago area. He graduated from Naperville Central High School in Naperville, IL, with the Class of 1983. Kyle loved to do sheet metal work and was great at woodworking and home remodeling. He managed rental properties and was fond of his work. Kyle had a successful modeling career and was a Crown Royal Cowboy. Kyle then met his partner of 15 years, Ronald “Pete” Figlmiller. They co-owned and managed their rental properties for many years. Kyle is survived by his partner, Pete of Eau Claire; mother, Kathryn of Naperville, IL; sister, Christine (Richard) Bahou of Naperville, IL; brothers, Philip (Maxine) Whitesel of Chino, CA and Kurt (Jane) Whitesel of Sioux Falls, SD; nieces, Tracy (fiancé, Eric) Bahou, Sarah (boyfriend, Andrew) Bahou, Michelle (boyfriend, Nate) Bahou; nephews, Brian (Kelsey) Whitesel, Matthew (Annie) Whitesel, and Nicholas (Chelsea) Manion; great-niece, Sylvie; Pete’s family; dear, long-time friend, Dave Berg; and his dogs, Saffie and Max. Kyle is preceded in death by his father, Elden. Kyle had an infectious laugh and everybody loved him. He will be missed by his many dear friends.
