Lori Andrea Bjork

Lori Andrea Bjork, age 53, of Eau Claire, passed away on Tuesday, February 6, 2018, at Mayo Clinic Health Systems – Eau Claire, with her family by her side. Lori was born on August 19, 1964, in Eau Claire, to the late Olaf and Arlene (Schneider) Saheim. She graduated from North High School with the Class of 1982. Lori obtained an Associate Degree in Fashion Merchandise and Marketing from Chippewa Valley Technical College. Lori married John Bjork on October 5, 1985, at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, Eau Claire. Together they raised 3 boys. She worked at Red lobster for 35 years and was very proud to serve the customers. The staff and customers at Red Lobster were her second family. Lori loved to sit on the deck and read. She enjoyed seasonal decorating, gardening, and spending time with her dogs, Rook and Colt. Lori loved her family immensely and always put their needs before her own. Everything she did was for her family. She made sure there was a home cooked meal for each of her family members and their friends every single day. She had a quick wit, loved to laugh, and always had a smile on her face. She went above and beyond to help those around her. As the mother of boys, Lori was so happy to be welcoming a daughter-in-law in June. Lori was an organ donor and was able to save 5 lives with her generous donation. Her donation will save many more lives in the future. Her family is very proud of her gift of life. Lori’s family would like to thank the staff at Mayo Clinic Health System – Eau Claire Critical Care Unit and those at Festival Foods who gave her such compassionate care. She is survived by her husband of 33 years, John; sons, Jacob (fiancé, Kayla Ammerman), Damian, and Seth; siblings, Cheryl (Dale) Anibas, Larry (Celest) Saheim, Pamela (Mark) Sippel; nieces and nephews, Felicia, Nathan, Gabe, Andrea, Tina, Jessi, Jami; lifelong best friend, Jill Rader; “cousin Tom”; and many dear work and family friends. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, February 10, 2018, at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, 601 Fall St., Eau Claire, with Rev. Jeff Carlson officiating. Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. at the church. Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral & Cremation Services is assisting her family.
