Luanne E. Cramblit

Luanne (Peterson) Cramblit, 71, of Eau Claire was welcomed into Heaven on Saturday, January 13, 2018. She was born in Eau Claire, a daughter of Lorren and Helen (Tusken) Peterson. Luanne graduated from Memorial High School with the Class of 1965. She worked at Luther Hospital until her marriage to Grant Cramblit on December 4, 1971. Luanne then began her favorite job as a wife and mother to her family. She loved to travel, it didn’t matter whether it was the weekly car rides with the family or a trip to Alaska or Europe, but her main love was in raising her children. Her smiles and undying support will be missed. Luanne was a true servant to everyone. She volunteered at L.E. Phillips Senior Center making dolls for children at the hospital and was active with the St. James Rosary Confraternity in whatever capacity she was needed. Luanne is survived by her husband of 46 years, Grant; son, Eric Cramblit of Eau Claire; two daughters, Ann (Chris) Hewitt of Minneapolis, MN and Renee (Jason) Boehm of Elk Mound, WI; grandson, Eric (Hanna) Hewitt of Winona, MN; brother, Steven (Lynn) Peterson of Rockwood, TN; three nephews, David (Kimberly), Mark (Vivi) and Karl (Franya) Peterson; and many other cousins, family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, January 19, 2018, at St. James the Greater Catholic Church, 2502 11th Street in Eau Claire, with Father Tom Krieg officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. prior to the Mass Friday at the church. Burial will be held in Lakeview Cemetery in Eau Claire.
