Lucille E. Flynn, age 98, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, January 26, 2015, with her daughter and son-in-law by her side. She was born on November 9, 1916, in Kaukauna, WI, to Frank and Nellie (Weinberg) Noie. She was employed by Holiday Inn and Exel Inn, retiring in 1985. Lucille was a long time member of St. James the Greater Catholic Church. Lucille was very dedicated to her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She also loved her garden and took great pride in her flowers and vegetables, particularly her fantastic tomatoes. Lucille is survived by her children, Patrick (Diane) of Madison, Kathy (Jim) Solberg of Eau Claire, Paul of Ban Salay, Thailand, and Maureen of Madison; grandchildren, Kristi (Robert) Fecik, Stephanie (Steve) Latham all of Minneapolis, and Kelly (Lee) Blount of Asheville, NC; great-grandchildren, Jake, Charlie and Perry Fecik; and sister, Lynn Weisgerber of Appleton; sister-in-law, Audrey Noie of Appleton. Lucille was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Norbert, Harold, John and George; three sisters, Marie, Genevieve and Gertrude. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, February 2, 2015, at St. James the Greater Catholic Church, 2502 11th St. Eau Claire, with Father Tom Krieg officiating. Luncheon and fellowship to follow Mass. Private interment, will be at Sacred Heart Cemetery.
