Monica Ann Lanners

Monica A. Lanners, 81, of Chippewa Falls, WI, passed away at home surrounded by her family on June 10, 2017. She was born on May 21, 1936, to Bernard and Anna (Boos) Bowe. Monica loved baking holiday cookies with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed a cold beer while playing cards, tending to her garden and putting puzzles together. She will be deeply missed by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and extended family. Monica is preceded in death by her husband, Jerry, of 57 years; two grandchildren, Marissa and Samantha Lanners; parents; and brothers and sisters. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am on Saturday, June 17, 2017, at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 810 Pearl St., Chippewa Falls, WI. with Monsignor Michael Gorman officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00 am until the time of the service. Monica will be laid to rest at St. Peter’s Cemetery in town of Tilden, WI. A special thanks to Dr. Kristine Reesman and her assistant, Sharon, for all the care and guidance over the last few years. We would also like to thank St. Joseph’s Hospice for their compassion during this difficult time. Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
