Patti S. Stauffer

Patti Sue Stauffer, 60, of Eau Claire, WI, died peacefully in her sleep, next to her husband, in the early hours of Wednesday, June 14, 2017. Patti was born in Geneva, Illinois on May 6, 1957, and grew up in Richland Center, Wisconsin. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a loved wife, mother, sister and friend. Patti is survived by her husband, Danny Stauffer; children, Michelle Holmstrom, Amanda (Kyle) Raible, Travis (Jenny) Rott, Justin (Melissa) Rott, and Heather (Christopher) Lee; step-sons, Derrick Stauffer and Danny Stauffer; brothers and sisters, Diane (Frank) Gombash, Marie (Vern) Wyatt, John (Pamela) Whetzal lll, Janelle (Gary) Willliams, Mary Roberts, Robin (Bob) Wilt, Lori (Dean) Rinehart, Karen Schumacher, and Bobby Whetzal; and numerous grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews. Patti was preceded in death by her mother and father, Bette Mae Schenk Whetzal and John Whetzal Jr.; sister, Judy Wentz; and nephews, Buford Edgerly and Brian Looney. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, June 19, 2017, at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home, 814 1st Ave, Eau Claire, with Rev. David Irgens officiating. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will take place at a later date in Lakeview Cemetery, Eau Claire.
