Agnes Marie Domer

Agnes Susan Marie Domer, 91, of Eau Claire, passed away at her residence surrounded by her family. She was born on March 12, 1926, in Pittsburgh, PA, the daughter of Jacob and Catherine (Kowahl) Okreglicki. Agnes married Russell Fischer and together they had a son, Larry. Russell died unexpectedly early in their marriage. She later married Roger W. Domer on October 20, 1948, in Eau Claire and they had four daughters together. She was a long-time parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Eau Claire, where she was a member of St. Ann’s Rosary Society, and also the VFW Women’s Auxiliary Post #305. She enjoyed being outdoors, playing cards, gardening, picking berries, making jam, and canning, but most of all, she enjoyed being with family. She loved animals, watching birds and spending time with her cat, Charlie. Agnes is survived by five children, Larry (finance, Elaine) Fischer, Susan (Don) Lane, Julie (Dale) Martin, Marilyn (Mark) Johnson, and Cheryl Domer; grandchildren, Pam, Kandi, Lisa, Tanya, Kevin, Scott, Trisha, Jake; 14 great-grandchildren; one brother, Jake Jr. (Bonnie); many nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Russell and Roger; her parents; one sister, Katherine; and one daughter-in-law, Ida Fischer. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, May 26, 2017, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father George Thayilkuzhithottu officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the time of Mass at the church. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
