Dorman R. Bartlett, 94, of Eau Claire, died Tuesday, August 27, 2013, at Oakwood Villa Nursing Home in Eau Claire, WI. He was born on November 7, 1918 in the town of Albertville, WI, to Horas and Theresa (Mittelstadt) Bartlett. He married Lucille M. Krause on June 23, 1945, in Downing, WI. Dorman retired from the Parks and Recreation Department in the city of Eau Claire. Dorman is survived by his son, Robert (Irene) Bartlett of Eau Claire; daughter, Judy (Jerry) Kilen of Jacksonville, FL; three grandchildren, Becky, Ron and Danny; five great-grandchildren, Amanda, Jonathan and Emily, and Chelsey Rohland and Brianna Bartlett; and two great-great granddaughters, Arieannah and Sarah. He is preceded in death by his wife, Lucille in 2005; his parents; granddaughter, Dawn Kilen; two grandsons, Brian and Eugene Bartlett; and a great grandson, Alexander Bartlett; and also by his brothers and sisters. Funeral services will be held at 11am on Thursday, September 5, 2013 at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home with Pastor Carlton Kangas officiating. Burial will be in Popple Creek American Cemetery in the Town of Grant, Dunn Co.,WI. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services on Thursday at the funeral home.
