Erma Cramer Obituary

Erma L. Cramer, 96, of Eau Claire, died Friday, August 18, 2017, at River Pines in Altoona, WI. She was born June 17, 1921, the daughter of Wesley and Florence (Toy) Tompkins in Eau Claire. Erma married Morris G. Cramer on December 5, 1943 in Eau Claire. During WWII, Erma had worked at Presto and Boing Aircraft in Seattle, WA. Erma enjoyed sewing, knitting, craft work. Later in life, she was an avid piano player. Erma is survived by her three sons, Roger (Terri) of Smithfield, VA, Ron (Cheryl) and Dave (Cindy), both of Eau Claire; son-in-law, Glenn Warren of Sand Point, ID; numerous grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Morris; daughter, Bonnie Warren; parents; brother, Charles Tompkins; and a sister, Dorothy Koger. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to be directed to St. John’s Lutheran Church. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. on Sunday, August 20, 2017, at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 1804 Highland Avenue in Eau Claire, with Pastor Nate Aaseng officiating. Visitation will be held from Noon to 2 p.m. Sunday at the church. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery in the Town of Washington.
