Kenneth F. Crank

Kenneth F. Crank, 95, of Mondovi, formerly of Hallie, passed away on October 19, 2017, at Dove Healthcare – West, Eau Claire. Ken was born in Eau Claire on February 22, 1922, a son of John and Karen (Nesja) Crank. He graduated from New Auburn High School. Ken served in the US Army during WWII in North Africa and Europe. He married Pearl M. Johnson on May 29, 1946, in Livingston, MT. He worked for Armour Meat Processing Plant until his retirement in 1981. Ken was a member of Bethesda Lutheran Church and a lifetime member of the VFW and the American Legion. Ken is survived by his wife of 71 years, Pearl; daughter, Neosha (Roy) Clickner of Elk Mound; son, Randy (Barb) Crank of Mondovi; 7 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and 7 great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; 5 children, Bill and Ruby Nelson, Larry and Connie Crank, and Becky Larsen. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, October 23, 2017, at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home, 814 1st Ave, Eau Claire, with Pastor Rod Larson officiating. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. Entombment will be at Hope Catholic Cemetery, Chippewa Falls.
