Thomas Berger Obituary

Thomas J. Berger, age 59, of Eau Claire, died October 4, 2014, at Mayo Clinic Health System-Eau Claire. Tom was born in La Crosse, on May 9, 1955, the son of William and Agnes (McCauley) Berger. Tom was a hard working individual who in his free time enjoyed fishing, hunting, card playing, and swimming with his grandson, Carson. Tom will be deeply missed by his wife of 38 years, Mary; sons, Alex and Adam; grandson, Carson; brothers, Patrick Berger of La Crosse and Fred Berger of Stoddard; brothers-in-law, Mark, Richard, John and Tom Heal. Tom is further survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and other friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Carol Goodman; and brother-in-law, Mike Heal. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 8, 2014, from 2 to 5 p.m. at Lenmark-Gomsrud- Linn Funeral Home, 814 First Avenue, Eau Claire, WI, with a funeral service at 5 p.m. with Chaplain Tim Rupert officiating.
