Troy L. Dwyer

Troy L. Dwyer, 33, of Lake Hallie, passed away on Friday, October 6, 2017, at his residence. Troy was born on August 25, 1984, in Eau Claire, a son to David and Cindy (Meyer) Dwyer. He attended Chippewa Falls High School and received his GED in 2004. Troy attended CVTC to obtain his marine and small engine degree which he was very proud of. He worked at Pomps Tires as a manager and went on to open his own marine and small engine business. Troy was an avid hunter and fisherman and had a passion for his career. He loved to tinker with cars as well. Troy loved spending time with his son, Dillon, his girlfriend, Alisha, her two children, Riley and Hailey – which he considered his own, and their dog, Tank, who was Troy’s buddy. He was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Eau Claire. He is survived by his brothers, Shawn and David (Jessie Barfknecht); son, Dillon; girlfriend, Alisha Moen and her children, Riley Hetra and Hailey Maurer; and grandmother, Ruth Dwyer. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Rollie and Gerry Meyer, and George Dwyer; and his parents, David Sr. and Cindy Dwyer. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Troy’s brothers, Shawn or David Dwyer. The family wishes to thank many family and friends who touched Troy’s life and the family appreciates all condolences in this time of sorrow. A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. on Monday, October 16, 2017, at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home, 814 First Ave, Eau Claire, with Rev. Robert Hoekstra officiating.
