Obituary

Aaron R. Anderson, 19, of Elk Mound died Tuesday, March 8, 2005, as a result of an auto accident in the Town of Wheaton. He was born July 19, 1985, in Eau Claire, the son of Wayne and Susan (Deetz) Anderson.\r\nAaron was raised on the family farm. Aaron graduated in 2004 from Elk Mound High School. He was currently enrolled in the marketing-management program at Chippewa Valley Technology College, and worked in the electrical department of Menards.\r\nAaron was a member of Big Elk Creek Lutheran Church where he was active in the Luther League. Aaron enjoyed fixing his friends' cars, four wheeling, snowmobiling, snowboarding, downhill skiing, deer hunting, fishing, building computers and "Bajaing".\r\nThe automobile accident also resulted in the death of his girl friend, Carolyn Gatz, who was very dear to him.\r\nSurvivors include his parents; brother, Alex of Elk Mound; grandparents, Ronald and Patricia (Carroll) Deetz of Colfax, and Fred and Helene (Froseth) Anderson of Elk Mound; great-grandparents, Lyle and Arvilla Deetz of Eleva; five uncles, Mike (Michelle) Deetz of Chippewa Falls, Bill Deetz of Elk Mound, Kelwin (Nancy) Anderson of Bloomer, Marvin (Roxie) Anderson of Elk Mound, and Brian (Kriss) Anderson of Elk Mound; ten cousins, Nick Anderson, Kelsey Anderson, Luke Anderson, Andy Anderson, Mitch Anderson, Kayla Anderson, Jenna Anderson, Rachel Deetz, Adam Deetz, and Lauryn Deetz; and many great-aunts and great-uncles.\r\nHe was preceded in death by his uncle, Wade Deetz.\r\nFuneral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, March 12, 2005, at Big Elk Creek Lutheran Church with Pastor Hal A. Schroetter officiating. Burial will be in Big Elk Creek Lutheran Church Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home and one hour prior to services Saturday at the church.\r\n \r\n
