Obituary

Adel M. (Koller) Moser, nee Lawrence, 87, of Eau Claire, passed away on Saturday, May 28, 2011, at her home under the care of St. Joseph's Hospice. She was born on November 17, 1923, in Seneca, Kansas to John "Henry" and Anna (Habermann) Lawrence. When Adel was very young, her family moved from Kansas to Sun Prairie, WI and then to Springbrook Township in Dunn County. She married Joseph Koller on September 26, 1944. Joseph passed away in March of 1977. She married Milo E. Moser on September 28, 1985. During World War II, Adel was employed as a machinist at Western Union. Adel worked in retail sales at Samuelson's, J.C. Penny's, Kmart, and the Farmer's Store. Adel was also employed as a cook at Central Junior High School and the Eau Claire Academy. She was a member of St. James the Greater Catholic Church, St. James Rosary Confraternity, the St. James Church Choir, and a lifetime member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary Post #7232. Adel is survived by her two sons, Paul (Debbie) Koller of Greenfield and Greg (Roberta) Koller of Chippewa Falls; her daughter, Kathleen (Ernest) Myers of Elk Mound; five grandchildren, SueAnn (Brad) Baerwald, Joseph and Jeri Koller, and John (Heidi) and Joseph (Katherine) Myers; two great-grandchildren, Christopher and Catherine Baerwald; two sisters, Helen Asher of Sioux City, IA and Delores Peterson of Rochester, MN; her brother, Father Reginald Lawrence of Kaukauna; and many nieces, nephews and friends.She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph; her husband Milo in 2001; her parents; her sister Marion Young; her niece, Ruth; and her nephews, Cletus and Dennis. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday, June 3, 2011, at 12:00 p.m. at St. James the Greater Catholic Church, with Father John A. Schultz officiating. Visitation will be on Thursday, June 2, 2011, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., with a Public Prayer Vigil at 7:30 p.m. at the Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home WEST CHAPEL LOCATION, 1405 N. CLAIREMONT AVE., Eau Claire. Visitation will also be one hour prior to the mass at church on Friday. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery at a later date.
