Adelia O. Severson, 101, of Eau Claire, died Friday, October 20, 2006, at Dove Healthcare and Rehabilitation. She was born in Augusta on October 6, 1905, the daughter of Henry and Otelia (Block) Erdman.\r\nAdelia married Arthur Severson on December 31, 1924 in Eau Claire.\r\nThey owned and operated Severson Nursery in Eau Claire until their retirement.\r\nShe was a longtime member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church active in Ladies Aid, and a member of the former Center of Care Cope Group.\r\nAdelia is survived by her two sons, Don (Sharon) Severson of Arden Hills, MN and Wayne (Nita) Severson of Clear Lake; a son-in-law, Dave Fletty of Eau Claire of Eau Claire; six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and her good friend, Karen Button of Eau Claire. \r\nShe was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Arthur Severson; her daughter, Carol Fletty; four brothers and three sisters. \r\nMemorial services will be at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, October 24, 2006, at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church with Pastor Carlton Kangas officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to services Tuesday at the church.
