ADELINE T. HAUGE, 89, formerly of Park Towers Apartments, died peacefully Thursday, March 6, 1997 at the Oakwood Villa in Altoona. She was born July 5, 1907 in Eau Claire to Jens and Oline (Solberg) Hanshus. Adeline graduated from Eau Claire Senior High School in the January 1926 Class. She had been employed by the Eau Claire Registrar of Deeds until her retirement in 1972. Adeline was a charter member of Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd.\r\nShe is preceded in death by two brothers, Nels and Jerome Hanshus; and a sister Myrtle Losby.\r\nAdeline is survived by two sons, Roger of Tempe, AZ and Orv (Nathalie) of Woodbury, MN; two grandsons,Todd (Cathy) of Flagstaff, AZ and Christopher of Woodbury, MN; three great-grandchildren, Jennifer, John and David of Flagstaff, AZ; two sisters, Irene Onarheim of Bloomington, MN and Ethel Vance of Eau Claire; a sister-in-law, Gail Hanshus of Eau Claire; numerous nieces and nephews; and many friends - several grand old ones.\r\nMemorial Services will be at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday at Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, with Pastors John E.Hosmann and Cynthia A.Crane officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery prior to the service. Friends may call a half hour before the services at the church.\r\nIn lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be directed to the donor's choice.\r\nThe family sincerely thanks the staff of Oakwood Villa and the members of Lutheran Church of The Good Shepherd for their compassion, understanding and prayers.
