Adeline V. Rossman, 102, of Eau Claire died Tuesday, February 3, 2004 at Clairemont Nursing Home. She was born April 6, 1901 in Dunville, Wisconsin, the daughter of August and Jennie (Brostrom) Johnson. Adeline married Robert E. Rossman on March 23, 1932 in Bloomer. They farmed in the Town of Seymour until Robert's death in 1968.\r\nShe was a charter member of Peace United Church of Christ, Fall Creek.\r\nSurvivors include her granddaughter, Rhea Hinshaw; great-granddaughter, Kristen (Marvin II) Laws; two great-great granddaughters, Christine Renae and Hazel Mae Victoria Laws all of Johnson City, TN; two nephews, Vincent (Noreen) Haas of Mondovi and Glenn Biesterveld of Eau Claire; two nieces, Ethel Matz and Dorothy Carpenter-Engstrom both of Eau Claire; and many great nieces and nephews.\r\nAdeline was also preceded in death by her daughter Nola Walters; brother, Charles E. Johnson; two sisters, Helen Haas and Esther Biesterveld; five nephews, Eugene Johnson, Wallace Haas, Charles J. Johnson, Clare Johnson, and Ken Biesterveld; and a niece, Delores Hosking. \r\nMemorial services will be at 11:30 a.m. Monday, February 9, 2004 at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home with Rev. John Wreford officiating. Burial will be in Lutheran Church Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the funeral home from 10:30 a.m. Monday until time of services.
