Obituary

Agnes I. Hanson, 95, formerly of Eau Claire and West Bend, died Friday, September 23, 2005, at the Rutledge Home in Chippewa Falls. She was born in Edgerton, Kansas, on June 9, 1910, the daughter of Jesse and Eva (Anderson) Ayres. \r\nAgnes married Conrad Peter Hanson in Eau Claire on October 11, 1936. Conrad died in 1969.\r\nShe worked as a nurse's assistant and in later years as a full time and later part time waitress at the Hotel Eau Claire.\r\nShe had been a member of First Lutheran Church when in Eau Claire and was now a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Augusta.\r\nAgnes is survived by her son James (Beverly) Hanson of West Bend; daughter, Sandra (Brian) Curl of Conrath; five grandchildren Jeremy (Jill) Hanson of Neenah, Erik (Stacy) Hanson of East Troy, Kristy (James) Malizio of Oak Forest, IL, Peter (Kathy) Jacot of Trevor,WI, and Paul Jacot of Massillon, OH; eight great grandchildren, Bret, Courtney, Maggie and Brent Hanson, Nicole (Matthew) Dove, Sheila Hansen, Kyle Jacot and Alex Jacot, one great-great granddaughter, Isabel Dove; two sisters, Grace Kolenda of Gardnerville, NV, and Dorothy Brown of Augusta; and several nieces and nephews. \r\nShe was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers Paul, David, John, Floyd and Lloyd Ayres; and two sisters, Alice Vehrs and Florence Ayres.\r\nFuneral services will held at 11 a.m. Monday, September 26, 2005 at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home with the Rev. Cory Rajek officiating. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery, Eau Claire. Family and friends may call an hour prior to services Monday at the funeral home. \r\n
