Obituary

ALBERT D. SIRIANNI, 82, of 1113 Bradley Ave., died Friday, April 13, 2001 at The Clairemont. He was born in Cumberland, Wisconsin on July 27, 1918 to Peter and Caroline (Zappa) Sirianni. He graduated from Cumberland High School with the class of 1937. \r\nAlbert married Margaret "Peg" E. Shannon on September 8, 1945 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Cumberland. They lived in Rice Lake where Albert worked with his family at Sirianni Distributing. In 1963, Albert and Peg moved to Eau Claire where they owned and operated Eau Claire Distributing Co. until his retirement in 1974.\r\nHe was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.\r\nWhen he had the opportunity Albert always enjoyed bowling league, golfing and reading.\r\nSurvivors include his wife of 55 years, Peg; two daughters, Kathy (Jack) Long of Eau Claire and Judy (Don) Ziehme of Weyerhaeuser; son, Tim of Cottage Grove, MN; five grandsons; three great grandsons; a great granddaughter; two brothers, Fred (Jean) Sirianni of Vero Beach, FL, and Peter Sirianni of Wausau; and many nieces and nephews.\r\nHe was preceded in death by his parents; a grandson, Keith Long; three brothers, Frank, Ben and Emil; and two sisters, Bridget Axtell and Anna Fee. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 19, 2001 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Father Eugene Klink officiating. Entombment will be in Resurrection Chapel Mausoleum in Eau Claire. Relatives and friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 18th at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home and an hour prior to services Thursday at the church. A public prayer service will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
