Albert "Al" (Snuss) E. Mueller, age 86, of Eau Claire, Wi, died in his sleep on Monday, June 20, 2016 at home with family by his side. Al was born October 31, 1929 in Wisconsin to Ewald Albert and Edna Ida (Svengaard) Mueller. He married Elizabeth "Beth" Rose Mason on December 3, 1951 in Stillwater, MN. He graduated from Eau Claire Senior High School and went on to Technical Training in Sheet Metal Working. After schooling he worked for Hovland Sheet Metal until his retirement. He later went on to work at Sheet Metal Enterprise. Snuss was an avid Packer and Brewer fan. He loved spending time at the cabin in Barnes, WI area and enjoyed a cold Budweiser with family and many friends. He also enjoyed spending time with friends at the American Legion Post #53 where he was an honorary member. He had "the gift of gab", made friends wherever he went, and always wore a smile. Al is survived by his wife of sixty-five years, Beth; five children; Greg (Judy Soer), Mark, Jean( Randy) Williguette, Pam Johnson and Karen (Bob Bergevin); seven grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and one brother, Jim Mueller. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends. Al was preceded in death by his parents Ewald and Edna (Svengaard) Mueller; and one son-in-law, Lew Johnson. A Memorial Service will take place at 12:00 noon, on Monday, June 27th, 2016 at Lenmark-Gimsrud-Linn Funeral Home, 814 First Ave., Eau Claire, WI. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
