Alger J. Lefstad, 77, of 712 Seaver St., Eau Claire, died Friday, October 03, 2003 at Luther Hospital. He was born on in Eau Claire on March 4, 1926 the son of Alfred and Ruth (Solie) Lefstad. He graduated from Eau Claire Senior High School with the class of 1944.\r\nHe worked 25 years at Schwan-Seyberth Wholesalers until his retirement and then worked part-time at Wagner's East Bowling Alley.\r\nSurvivors include his cousins, DeWayne Solie, Eugene Solie and Donna Nowak all of Eau Claire, Betty Edmond of Naugatuck, CT., Tom and James Heunisch both of Federal Way, WA. \r\nAlger was preceded in death by his parents.\r\nFuneral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, October 7, 2003 at First Lutheran Church with the Rev. Dr. Duane C. Pederson officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. Friends and relatives may call one hour prior to services Tuesday at the church chapel.
