Alice L. Abrahamson, 86, of Eau Claire and formerly of Franklin Park, Illinois, died Monday, January 31, 2005, at Dove Healthcare. She was born in Menomonie on May 25, 1918, the daughter of William and Ida (Seipel) Tietz.\r\nAlice married Helge "Hal" Abrahamson on January 31, 1948, in Brainerd, Minnesota.\r\nShe had been a member of Epiphany Lutheran Church since 1982.\r\nSurvivors include her husband, Hal; two sons, Val (Connie) of Kenosha and Dale (Lena) of Stanley; daughter, Carol (Peter) Smith of Eau Claire; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.\r\nAlice was preceded in death by her parents; and three brothers, Albert, Clarence and Robert Tietz.\r\nPrivate family services were held today at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home with Pastor Frederick C. Sauder officiating.
