Alice K. Bachman, 93, of Eau Claire, passed away on Monday, June 1, 2015, at Dove Healthcare West in Eau Claire. Alice was born on August 5, 1921, in Milwaukee to Anthony and Cecelia (Gibowski) Krukowski. She graduated in 1939 from South Division High School in Milwaukee. Alice married John W. Bachman on June 24, 1950 at The Basilica of St. Josaphat in Milwaukee. She worked at Deltrol Controls in Milwaukee until her retirement. She will always be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother. Alice is survived by her two sons, Robert (Marlene) and Alan Bachman; two grandsons, Brett and Daniel Bachman; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, John; four brothers, Anthony, Jerome, Alois, and Stanley; and two sisters, Esther and Wanda. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., on Friday, June 5, 2015 at the West Chapel of Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home, 1405 N. Clairemont Ave. in Eau Claire. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. The family would like to thank the staff at Dove Healthcare West for their wonderful care shown to Alice.
