Alice M. Lund, 87, of Eau Claire, died Monday, January 5, 2004 at Lakeside Nursing and Rehabilitation in the Town of Eagle Point. She was born January 4, 1917 in Eau Claire, the daughter of Albert and Hannah (Hillestad) Siebert. She graduated from Eau Claire Senior High School with the class of 1935.\r\nAlice married Romaine S. Lund in Eau Claire on September 11, 1940. \r\nShe was a member of Grace Lutheran Church where she participated in Women of Grace.\r\nAlice was known as the "neighborhood Grandma" who loved sharing her baking and cooking with all the children and pets that visited her.\r\nSurvived by many cousins including Betty Dax, Leesha Boehmke, Bev Oas and Dan Greifzu all of Eau Claire; and her many friends and former neighbors.\r\nShe was preceded in death by her husband, Romaine in 1987; her parents; brother, Gib Siebert and her sister, Francis Dahl. \r\nFuneral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, January 9, 2004 Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home with Pastor David J. Irgens officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery in Eau Claire.
