Alma E. Cass, 101, of Eau Claire, died Saturday, July 24, 2010, at Dove Healthcare in Eau Claire. \r\nShe was born of February 28, 1909, in North Freedom, Wisconsin, the daughter of Henry and Susan (Buiny) Will. She graduated from Fairchild High School with the class of 1928.\r\nShe moved to California, where she met and married Charles W. Cass. Later she returned to Fairchild with her son Charles.\r\nShe was a dietary supervisor and cook for Fairchild, Osseo and Augusta Nursing Homes until her retirement in 1979. She then moved to Park Towers in Eau Claire.\r\nSurvivors include her two grandsons, Aaron Cass of Seattle, WA and Brian Cass of Livermore, CA; and many nieces and nephews.\r\nAlma was preceded in death by her son, Charles in 2006; her parents; a brother, Lawrence Will; two sisters, Olga Schmidt and Lydia Johnston; and several nieces and nephews.\r\nBurial will be in Fairchild Cemetery.
