ALMA C. JOHNSON, 90, a resident of the M.B. Syverson Lutheran Home for the past eighteen years, died March 30, 1998 at the home. She was born February 11, 1908, and was a lifelong resident of Eau Claire. Alma was also a lifetime member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church.\r\nSurvivors include four sisters, Doris Bergeman of Grandview,WI, Beverly Voss of Eau Claire, Gladys Nelson and Edna Franks, both of Castro Valley, CA; a sister-in-law, Vonnie Johnson of Eau Claire; a brother-in-law, Warren Bergeman; and fifteen nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and four brothers, Marvel, Chester, Lawrence, and Harris.\r\nPrivate funeral services were held at Lenmark-Gomsrud Funeral Home with Vonnie Olson of the M.B. Syverson Lutheran Home officiating. Burial was in Lutheran Church Cemetery.
