Amber Star Krenz, 22, of S7465 Crestview Ct., died Tuesday, November 27, 2001 at Sacred Heart Hospital. She was born January 5, 1979 to William and Sheila (Johnson) Krenz in Eau Claire. \r\nAmber graduated with honors from Memorial High School in 1997. She volunteered for a year in Americorp, serving in the Southeast United States. Amber then enrolled at UW-Eau Claire, majoring in Environmental and Public Health. She was a waitress at Draganetti's Ristorante. Amber served internships at the Grand Marais, MN and Eau Claire Public Health Departments.\r\nAmber was truly loved by her family and friends. She was fun loving and adventurous, had a great love for life and interest in making a positive difference and helping in others lives.\r\nSurvivors include her mother, Sheila Wright; her father, William Krenz; a sister, Marisa (Mark) Anderson; two brothers, Jon Krenz and Kyle Wright; her grandmother, Betty Johnson and grandparents, Alex and Dorothy Krenz, all of Eau Claire; four aunts, Judy Peterson of Fall Creek, Anita Twin of Eau Claire, Ellen (Jerry) Carroll of Cannon Falls, MN, and Nancy (Steven) Hendler of Carmel Valley, CA; two uncles, Brad Johnson of Chippewa Falls and David Krenz of Eau Claire; and many cousins.\r\nShe was preceded in death by her grandfather, Milton E. Johnson.\r\nFuneral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, November 30, 2001 at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, with Pastor Sherm Iverson officiating. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today, Thursday, November 29, 2001 at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home and one hour prior to services Friday at the church.
