Obituary

Amy R. Weizenegger, 50, of the Town of Anson, Chippewa Falls, passed away Sunday, May 4, 2003 at her home. She was born in Eau Claire on January 18, 1953 the daughter of Lorn and Edith (Ede) Larson. Amy was baptized and confirmed at First Lutheran Church in Eau Claire. She grew up in Eau Claire graduating from Memorial High School in 1971, and then attended UW-Stout. Amy married Thomas E. Weizenegger at First Lutheran Church on October 22, 1983. They have resided in Chippewa Falls since their marriage.\r\nAmy was employed at UW-Eau Claire, First Wisconsin Bank in Eau Claire and Mason Shoe Co. and Mutual Saving Bank in Chippewa Falls.\r\nSurvivors include her husband, Thomas; son, Edward at home; parents, Lorn and Edith Larson of Eau Claire; brother, David (Diane) Larson of Menomonie; sister, Linda (Karl) Schroeder of Appleton; brother-in-law Geb (Cheryl) Weizenegger of Fort Wayne, IN; three nephews, Bradley (Jenny) Schroeder of Madison, Brett (Sara) Schroeder of Appleton and Andrew Larson of Menomonie; and two nieces, Renne and Kari Weizenegger of Fort Wayne, IN.\r\nShe was preceded in death by her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Arthur and Mariel Weizenegger; and grandparents, Edward and Louisa Ede, and George and Sarah Larson.\r\nFuneral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home, Eau Claire with the Rev. Dr. Duane C. Pederson officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery, Eau Claire. Family and friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday and an hour prior to services Thursday at the funeral home.
