ANASTASIA R. BACHER, age 85, formerly of Half Moon Apartments, died Wednesday, February 9, 2000 at The Clairemont. She was born on October 23, 1914, in St. Paul, Minnesota to Charles and Lillian (Bluestone) Lightfoot. She grew up in Chicago and her family later moved to Eau Claire. \r\nAnastasia married Arthur J. Derouin in Eau Claire where they raised their family. Arthur died in 1965. She married Ray Bacher on December 27, 1957 in Wabasha, MN. He died August 10, 1984.\r\nShe was a member of V.F.W. Auxiliary, Luther Hospital Auxiliary, and was also a volunteer at Luther.\r\nSurvivors include three sons, Arthur (Diane) Derouin and Michael Derouin, both of Wausau, and Joseph Derouin of Madison; daughter, Mary (Julian) Tijerina of Madison; four grandchildren; two great grandchildren; a brother, James Lightfoot of Eau Claire; sister, Hazel Lightfoot of Chippewa Falls; and several nieces and nephews.\r\nShe was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Arthur and Ray; two brothers; and two sisters.\r\nFuneral services will be at 12 p.m. Wednesday at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home with The Rev. Dr. Duane C. Pederson officiating. Burial will be in Lutheran Church Cemetery. Friends may call an hour prior to services Wednesday at the funeral home.\r\n
