Angela Marie Szopinski Bubernak, was born on June 20, 1948, to the late Ray and Rose Szopinski. On June 24, 1972, she married the LOVE of her life, Joseph Bubernak. Their prayers were answered when they became parents to, Daniel Joseph Bubernak on October 12, 1988. She co-directed the Religious Education Program at Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish in Eau Claire for 20 years. Angie taught by example! Her labor of love was "the Program" She received the DRE of the Year award in 2000 by the Diocese of LaCrosse. Angie endured many physical, mental and spiritual challenges throughout her adult life. Although one would never realize the suffering and pain because in "Angie's World" life is all about making other's happy. On July 28, 2018, suddenly and devasting, God sent his heavenly angels to free her of all the health conditions, pain and suffering so that she could be with Him in the mansion prepared for her!! Angie believed, taught and lived her life to the fullest to achieve that destiny! It is a sad but celebratory time for all that knew and loved her. Loving mother, great wife, fun to be with, intelligent, compassionate, and a great cook and hostess. Angie is survived by her husband, Joseph; son, Daniel; sister, Barbara; brothers, Michael (Rose) and Edward (Carol). These, along with countless nieces, nephews and cousins is her legacy to this world and with this legacy she will live forever. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 am, on Friday, August 3, 2018, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 416 N. Dewey St. Eau Claire, with Monsignor Richard W. Gilles officiating. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 pm, on Thursday, August 2, 2018, at the WEST CHAPEL of Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home, 1405 N. Clairemont Ave. and 30 minutes prior to the Mass on Friday at the church. Burial will be at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Eau Claire.
