Obituary

Angelica "Angie" A. Dreger, 96, formerly of 2619 11th Street died Friday, April 19, 1996 at the Center of Care. She was born May 20, 1899 in the Town of Popple Creek, Dunn Co., WI. She graduated from Dunn County Training School for Teachers at Menomonie and taught at schools in Dunn and Chippewa Counties. Angie married Fred H. Dreger on June 24, 1920 in Bloomer. \r\nThey moved to Eau Claire with their family in 1942 and joined St. Matthew Lutheran Church in 1943. She was an active member of the Ladies Society, the LWML and Senior Citizens group.\r\nSurvivors include two sons, Gerald (Christie) and Charles (Faylene) both of Eau Claire; two daughters, Arlene Lorch of Brodhead and Betty Lou (Larry) Carlson of Stevensville, MT; thirteen grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.\r\nAngie was preceded in death by her husband, Fred in 1990; parents, a great granddaughter, Mary Catherine Lorch; a brother, Arthur; three sisters, Agnes Abraham, Adelia H. Johnson, Alice Burns; a half brother, Arnold Krause; two half sisters, Alma Sylte and Anna Jones and a son-in-law, Willis Lorch.\r\nFuneral Services will be at 11 A.M. Tuesday at St. Matthew Lutheran Church with Rev. Wilbur Zielke officiating. Burial will be in St. John's Lutheran Church Cemetery, Popple Creek, Dunn County. Friends may call 4 to 8 P.M. Monday at Lenmark-Gomsrud Funeral Home and one hour prior to services Tuesday at the church.
