Anna May Dickerson, 90, of Eau Claire died Monday, April 17, 2006, at Sacred Heart Hospital. She was born on March 25, 1916 in St. Paul, Minnesota to James Cretin and Valborg (Knudsen) Brown.\r\nAnna May moved with her family to Eau Claire where she graduated from St. Patrick's High School in 1934. She then attended St. Theresa's College in Winona, MN.\r\nOn November 7, 1944, she married Eugene Dickerson in Boston, MA.\r\nAnna May was a member of Immaculate Conception Parrish. She was a volunteer for Meals on Wheels, St. Francis Food Pantry, Telecare, the Clairemont Nursing Home and Syverson Lutheran Home.\r\nAnna May is survived by her seven children, Mary Bement of Eau Claire, Kate (Paul) Zavada of Burlington, WI, Susan (Joachim) Glaser, Connie (David) Turner, and Jim (Julie Burr) Dickerson all of Eau Claire, Peggy (Lon) Couillard of Milwaukee, and Patty of Big Sky, MT; thirteen grandchildren, Tom (Lynn), Lisa, Pete, and Joe (Nancy) Bement; Laura Zavada; Christoph Glaser; Michael, Sarah, and Libby Turner; John and Josie Dickerson; and David and Robert Couillard; her sister, Lois McHugh of Seattle, WA; sister-in-law, Ruth Brown of Eau Claire; brother-in-law, John Brosnahan of Atlantic, IA; many nieces and nephews.\r\nShe was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Eugene in 1996; a sister, Elizabeth "Betty" Brosnahan; brother, Roger Brown; and son-in-law, Greg Bement.\r\nMass of Christian burial will be held at 1 p.m. Friday April 21, 2006, at Immaculate Conception Church with Father Eugene A. Klink officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Lenmark Gomsrud Linn Funeral Home and one hour prior to services Friday at the church.
