Anna Mae LeBarron, age 89, of Eau Claire, died December 14, 2010 at the Oakwood Villa Nursing Home in Altoona, WI. Anna was born on October 2, 1921 to Henry and Rosalia (Liebreich) Ver Hagen in Eau Claire WI. She married Stewart "Gale" LeBarron on April 28, 1941 at St. Patrick's Church in Eau Claire. Anna was a charter member of St. Olaf Catholic Church, a member of St. Olaf PCCW, Catholic Knights and life member of the Ladies Auxiliary VFW Post #305. She is preceded in death by her husband, Stewart; daughter, Patricia Barrington; 3 brothers, John, Henry and Leo; 3 sisters, Eleanor, Rose Mary and Joyce. Anna is survived by daughter, Jane (David) Chase, of Shakopee; 4 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; son-in-law, Kenneth Barrington Jr.; and siblings, Irene (Eugene) Wittmann of Chippewa Falls, Dorothy Pfielsticker of Eau Claire, Raymond (Carmen) Ver Hagen of Thiensville, WI, and Gerald (Marylou) Ver Hagen of Lacrosse, WI. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m., Saturday, December 18, 2010 at St. Olaf Catholic Church, 3220 Monroe Street, Eau Claire, WI 54703 with Father Brian Konopa officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to Mass at church. Interment will be in Rest Haven Cemetery in the township of Washington. In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to St. Olaf PCCW or VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post #305.
