ANNA L. STELTER, age 86, of 1903 Valmont Ave, died Wednesday, March 4, 1998 at Luther Hospital. She was born March 9, 1911 in the Town of Bennett Valley, Buffalo County, Wisconsin to Clarence and Lilly (Schultz) Tyler. Anna moved with her family to Eau Claire in 1920 and attended the Eau Claire Schools. As a young adult, she lived in Denver, Colorado, returning to Eau Claire in 1936. \r\nAnna married Bernhardth A. Stelter on March 3, 1942 in Bethany, Missouri. She worked at National Pressure Cooker (Presto) and later worked as a drapery seamstress at Sears in Eau Claire until retirement. Anna was a member of Grace Lutheran Church.\r\nSurvivors include two sisters, Alma (Merle) Stewart and Ruth Kopp both of Eau Claire; and many nieces and nephews.\r\nShe was preceded in death by her husband in 1983; her parents; three brothers, Ray, Toby and Alton Tyler; and two nephews, an infant Thomas Tyler, and Daniel Stewart in 1997.\r\nFuneral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Grace Lutheran Church Chapel with Pastor Howard Fehr officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.Friends may call one hour prior to services Saturday at the church.
