AnnMarie (nee' Devney) DuLac, 58, of Eau Claire, died Saturday, January 7, 2017, at her residence, surrounded by her family, after a courageous battle with cancer. AnnMarie was born on February 20, 1958 in Eau Claire, WI, a daughter of Patrick and Barbara (Frederickson) Devney. She had worked in Environmental Services at Sacred Heart Hospital for four years, retiring in 2015, due to illness. She married Steven DuLac on September 26, 2015, in Eau Claire. She enjoyed listening and dancing to country music and the "oldies". She loved spending time with her family, especially the family gatherings. AnnMarie is survived by her husband, Steven of Eau Claire; children, Patrick (Amber) Lien of Elk Mound, Michael (Sara) Lien of Chippewa Falls, Amy (David) Hughes of Chippewa Falls; step-daughters, Alyssa DuLac and Dawn DuLac both of Eau Claire; mother, Barbara Jennings of Eau Claire; father-in-law, John "Jack" DuLac; three sisters, Chris Devney of LaCrosse, Vicki (Dennis) Hoffman of Eau Claire, and Rita Patrow of Eau Claire; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles; special friends, Mary Sorenson, Sue Woodington; and her pets, Cuddles and Angel. She was preceded in death by her father, Patrick Devney; sister, Linda Devney; mother-in-law, Mary Jo (nee' Erpenbach) DuLac; nephew, Derick Devney-Yonkovich; late husband, Duane Lien; and step-father, Wally Jennings. A celebration of AnnMarie`s life will be held at 12 p.m. on Saturday, January 14, 2017, at the WEST CHAPEL location of Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home, 1405 N. Clairemont Ave, in Eau Claire, with Pastor Nick Henseler officiating. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service Saturday at the funeral home. Inurnment will take place at St. Patrick's Cemetery in Eau Claire. AnnMarie's family wishes to extend their appreciation to the Regional Cancer Center, St. Joseph's Hospice and Sacred Heart Hospital for the compassionate care given to AnnMarie during her illness.
