Ardath C. Wilbur, 84, of Eau Claire died Thursday, July 1, 2004, at Luther Hospital. She was born November 22, 1919 in Eau Claire, the daughter of Edmund and Anna Louise (Johnson) Moriarity.\r\nShe worked at Armour's as a factory worker processing meat until her retirement in 1978.\r\nArdath was a member of Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, a life member of the Ladies Auxiliary to VFW Post #305, and a member of Eau Claire Women of the Moose Chapter #557 for 24 years.\r\nSurvivors include four daughters, Debra Demaio, Diana Prill, Patti Scott and Sally Olson all of Eau Claire; 17 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; three sisters, Beverly (George) Ryan of Encino, CA, June Harrington and Shirley Christeson both of Eau Claire; and many nieces and nephews.\r\nArdath was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Gary Goss; her daughter, Kathy Spence and her brother, Eddie Moriarity.\r\nShe was a loving mother and grandmother, and will be sadly missed by all.\r\nFuneral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 7, 2004, at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home with Pastor Paul D.L. Oppedahl officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home and one hour prior to services on Wednesday.
