Ardelle Davis, 82, of Eau Claire, passed away Wednesday, May 20, 2015, at her home. Ardelle was born in the Town of Montana, WI, on September 21, 1932, a daughter of Otto and Mary (Flury) Beck. Ardelle married Bernard Davis on December 22, 1950, at Chippewa Valley Church of the Brethren in rural Mondovi, Pepin County. All holidays were Ardelle's favorite time to spend with her family, especially the grandchildren. Ardelle was an avid gardener. She liked to watch the Packers and Brewers. Ardelle and Bernard loved to travel to foreign countries and places throughout the United States. Ardelle was an active member of Rock Falls Baptist Church. Ardelle is survived by six sons, Terry (Debbie) Davis of Eau Claire, Larry (Tammy) Davis of Fall Creek, James (Susan) Davis of Fall Creek, Kenny (Heidi Melton) Davis of Eau Claire, Carey Davis (Alisa King) of Colfax, Todd (Diann) Davis of Eau Claire; grandchildren, Heather (Jim) Davis-Prickett, David (Jen) Davis, Jimmy (Colleen) Davis, Kelly (Ray) York, Eric (Becky Satter) Davis, Jessica (Joe) Boesl, Trent (Kari) Davis, Calvin (Heidi) Davis, Jamie (Aaron) Wilson, Kristin (Alex) Strom, Dustyn Davis, Jacob (Katelyn) Davis, Andrew Davis; great-grandchildren, Paytyn, Ian, Luke, Landon, Lauren, Molly, Max, Elly, Kaydence, Jocelyn, Milla, Flynn, Bella, Jillian, Joseph and Hailey; great-great-granddaughter, Rosalie; brother, Dallas (Dolly) Beck of Mondovi, WI; nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard; granddaughter, Jennifer Davis; four sisters, Lois Laehn, Elsie Schafner, Celeste Karsch and Fern Hanson; and a brother, Florian Beck. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 27, 2015, at Rock Falls Baptist Church in Rock Falls with Pastor Dan Whitehead officiating. Burial will be at East Pepin Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 26, 2015, at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home, 814 First Ave, Eau Claire, and one hour prior to services at the church. Memorials may be directed to Rock Falls Baptist Church in memory of Ardelle.
