Ardes M. Hugdahl, 87, formerly of Eau Claire died Saturday, May 18, 2002 at Regency Place in South Bend, Indiana. She was born on July 4, 1914 in Eau Claire to Ole and Olivia (Kosmo) Johnson. Ardes was a graduate of Eau Claire Senior High School. \r\nOn October 1, 1933 Ardes married Obert Hugdahl in Winona, Minnesota and they resided in Eau Claire. Following Obert's death in 1987, she moved to South Bend, Indiana to live with her daughter Sharon.\r\nSurvivors include daughter, Sharon (James) Cohen of South Bend, Indiana; son, Richard (Dianne) Hugdahl of Ames, Iowa; eight grandchildren, Jimmy and Joshua Cohen, Andrea, David, Joseph, Bradley and Carlton Hugdahl and Jessica (Scott) Manske; several nieces and nephews.\r\nShe was also preceded in death by her parents; a son, Ronald Hugdahl and brothers and sisters.\r\nFuneral Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home with Rev. Dennis Hugdahl officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. Family and friends may call 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday in the main lounge at First Lutheran Church, 1005 Oxford Ave., and 10 a.m. until time of services Thursday at the funeral home.
