Arlene L. Hovde, 73, of Eau Claire died Wednesday, November 21, 2007, at Luther Hospital. She was born in Eau Claire on July 29, 1934, the daughter of Otto and Selma (Thoen) Gullickson.\r\nArlene graduated from Eau Claire Senior High School with the class of 1951.\r\nArlene married Lawrence G. "Larry' Hovde in Eau Claire on October 29, 1955.\r\nShe was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church.\r\nArlene is survived by her boyfriend, Tom Perry of Fall Creek; four children, Linda (Ron) Jegen of South Milwaukee, Judy ( Glenn) Lone of Augusta, Kathy (Steve Weiss) Frome of Eau Claire and Kurt Hovde of Augusta; ten grandchildren; two great granddaughters, Jordin Daniel Burgey and Savannah Nicole Fleener; three sisters, Beatrice (Harvey) Heuer and Shirley ( Bob) Pichler both of Eau Claire, and Carol (Don) Marquardt of Stanley; sister-in-law, Vicki Gullickson of Rochester, MN; and many nieces, nephews and friends.\r\nShe was preceded in death by her son, Mike; her parents; two sons-in-law, Dale Wagner and John Frome; and her two brothers, Dick and Wayne Gullickson.\r\nFuneral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, November 26, 2007, at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Eau Claire with Pastor Gary F. Sahs officiating. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery in the town of Washington. Family and friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home and one hour prior to services Monday at the church.
