ARNOLD "ARNIE" C. LUND, 60, of 3301 Melby Rd., died Wednesday, December 11, 1996 at his home. He was born October 4, 1936 in Eau Claire to Alfred and Clara (Brian) Lund. He graduated from Eau Claire Senior High School with the class of 1954. Arnie served with the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He married Donna Marcott on August 6, 1973 in Eau Claire. He worked 25 years at Uniroyal until his retirement in 1991. Arnie was a longtime softball fan and played for many years and was a coach with the girls slow pitch softball league. He loved hunting, sports and was an enthusiastic Packer fan. \r\nSurvivors include his mother, Clara, Eau Claire; two sisters, Doris (Ken) Moxness, Fridley,MN, and Lorraine (Mel) Mattson, North St. Paul,MN; a step-son, Randy (Dawn) Marcott, Eau Claire; two step-daughters, Lynnda (David) Peterson, Eau Claire and Kim (Buddy) McKnight, Midland City, AL; five step-grandchildren, Amanda and Ashley Marcott, and Amy and Josh Peterson all of Eau Claire and Joshua McKnight, Midland City, AL; five nieces and nephews and many friends.\r\nHe was preceded in death by his wife, Donna in 1989, and his father, Alfred in 1972.\r\nFuneral Services will be at 1 P.M. Saturday at Grace Lutheran Church Chapel with Pastor Gene E. Wickman officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. Friends may call 4 to 7 P.M. Friday (Today) at Lenmark-Gomsrud Funeral Home and one hour prior to services Saturday at the church.
