Arthur E. Ganong, Jr., 84, of Eau Claire, WI passed away peacefully with a smile, at his daughter Beryl's (Jack) home in Pahrump, NV on Saturday, May 22, 2010. He was born in Eau Claire on November 8, 1925, the son of Arthur and Maysie (Miles) Ganong. He worked as a lathe machinist for McDonough Mfg. Co. for 45 years until his retirement. He was a JOVIAL man. He married Mary Lou Cliver of Marshfield, WI in September 1955, the mother of his 3 children. He was a member for many years of the Deaf Association in the Chippewa Falls and the Eau Claire area. Arthur is survived by his daughter, Beryl M. Weibel-Bouder (son-in-law) Jack Bouder, grandson Zahn Bouder of Pahrump, NV; son, William E. Ganong of Eau Claire; daughter, Barbara E Ganong, grandsons, Justin&Jarred Phillips of Memphis TN; sister, Lois (Earl) Squires; brothers, Clayton (Ann)&Raymond (Gail); and many nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; Arthur and Maysie Ganong and sister-in-law Joan Ganong. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 8, 2010, from 5 to 9 p.m. at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home, 814 First Ave., Eau Claire, WI. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 9 2010, with visitation one hour prior to services Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Lakeview Cemetery, Eau Claire.
