Arvilla L. Hanson, 95, of Eau Claire, died Monday, June 04, 2007, in Bismarck, North Dakota.\r\nShe was born on June 18, 1911, the daughter of Edwin and Ida (Grorud) Amundson in Buffalo County, WI.\r\nArvilla and Selmer ("Sammy") Hanson were united in marriage on June 26, 1937. They resided in the Eau Claire area all of their married lives. Selmer joined the Lord in July of 1991.\r\nArvilla and Selmer were blessed with two daughters, Yvonne (Bob) Dicke of Plano, TX and Reve (Truman) Abley of Bismarck, ND. Arvilla continued to live in Eau Claire until 2002 when she moved to Bismarck to be closer to family. \r\nShe enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, watching TV, crocheting, and other crafts. She LOVED chocolate, lemon drops, and pizza.\r\nShe is survived by her two daughters, Reve (Truman) Abley of Bismarck, ND; Yvonne (Bob) Dicke of Plano, TX; four granddaughters; and three great-grandchildren.\r\nShe was preceded in death by her husband; parents; a granddaughter; two brothers; and a sister.\r\nMemorial services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, June 8, 2007, at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. Duane C. Pederson officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Valley Lutheran Church Cemetery, Town of Drammen. Family and friends may call one hour prior to the time of services Friday at the Funeral Home.\r\n
