Arvilla M. Miland, 91, of Eau Claire died Tuesday, December 21, 2004, at Luther Hospital. She was born in Eleva, Wisconsin on March 23, 1913, the daughter of Sever and Marie (Berg) Peterson.\r\nArvilla married Theodore "Ted" Miland in Milwaukee on November 19, 1932.\r\nShe was a member of First Lutheran Church.\r\nSurvivors include her son, Gerald of Eden Prairie, MN; two grandchildren, Tari Wiest of Etters, PA and Todd (Sandra) Miland of Harrisburg, PA; a great-granddaughter, Amber Lynn Wiest of Etters, PA; three sisters, including her twin sisters, Fern Julson of Eau Claire and Flossie Bernstein of Milwaukee, and Ruth Semingson of Strum; many nieces and nephews.\r\nShe was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ted; daughter, Beverly Miland; a sister, Miranda Hogoboom; and her brother, Spencer Pederson.\r\nFuneral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, December 28, 2004, at First Lutheran Church with Rev. Dr. Duane C. Pederson and Bishop Robert Berg officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home and one hour prior to services Tuesday at church.\r\nArvilla's family requests memorials are directed to First Lutheran Church, 1005 Oxford Avenue, Eau Claire, WI 54703. \r\n
