Obituary

Audrey A. Frandsen, 70, of Eau Claire died Friday, June 18, 2010, at Syverson Lutheran Home. She was born on October 12, 1939 in Eau Claire, a daughter of Adolph and Cora (Peterson) Erickson.\r\nAudrey married Lorn V. Frandsen on October 19, 1968, at First Lutheran Church in Eau Claire.\r\nShe was a lifetime member of First Lutheran Church where she was baptized and confirmed.\r\nAudrey enjoyed playing board games, camping, spending time with her friends and family, traveling to visit her daughter and granddaughter in Hawaii and Washington, and was an avid "Wheel of Fortune" viewer. \r\nAudrey is survived by her son, Dan Frandsen of Eau Claire; daughter, Lynn Williams of Spanaway, WA; four granddaughters, Mariah, Brianna, Jennifer, and Arica; four brothers and two sisters, Virginia A. Casper, Janet M. Andrews, and Robert E. (Marjorie) Erickson all of Eau Claire, David D. (Fabby) Erickson of Deming, NM, Stanley G. (Darlene) Erickson of Chetek, and Donald A. (Mona) Erickson of Neenah; sister-in-law, Joyce Erickson of Deming, NM; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and a special friend, Bev.\r\nShe is preceded in death by her husband, Lorn; a son, Jeff; her parents, sister, Evelyn M. Erickson; five brothers, Adolph A., Harold W., Gordon R. Erickson, Marshall N., and Gerald J. "Chub" Erickson; four sisters-in-law, Arlene, Helen, Sheri, and Marlene Erickson; and her brother-in-law, Steven Casper. \r\nFuneral services will be held at Noon on Tuesday, June 22, 2010, at First Lutheran Church, 1005 Oxford Ave., with Pastor Lowell Halvorson officiating. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery in Eau Claire. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 12 (Noon) Tuesday at First Lutheran Church. Lenmark Gomsrud Linn Funeral Home is serving her family.\r\nHer family would like to give a special thank you to the Community Health Partners Staff for their excellent care and compassion for Audrey throughout the years, and a special thank you to the 4th floor staff at Luther Hospital, Syverson Lutheran Home and Northwest Homecare Hospice.
