August C. "Gus" Rosolack, 90, of Eau Claire went home to be with the Lord, Wednesday, December 10, 2003 at the Clairemont Nursing Home. He was born in Eau Claire on February 17, 1913 the son of August and Catherine (Ahrendt) Rosolack.\r\nGus married Ruby M. Eisold at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Eau Claire on June 15, 1937. \r\nWith nearly 40 years in the electronics field, he held positions with WEAU as chief transmitter engineer, Western Electric, Zenith Sales Co., and finally with UW-Eau Claire as an electronic technician until his retirement in 1978.\r\nGus was blessed with many years of retirement. His favorite hobbies were gardening, fishing and camping with family and friends. We will all cherish those loving memories until we meet again.\r\nSurvivors include his two sons, Daniel (Ellie) Rosolack and Gregory (Cathy) Rosolack of Eau Claire; daughter, Pamela Bodwin of Harvard, IL; daughter-in-law, Mary Rosolack of Eau Claire; six grandchildren, Deborah (Sean) Whitney, Daniel Rosolack II, David Rosolack, Stephanie Rosolack, Matthew Hursthouse and Paul Rosolack; four great-grandchildren, Trinity, Gabriel, Sean II and Lexi Whitney. \r\nHe was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby; son, Stephen in 2001; and his brother Herbert. \r\nMass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, December 13, 2003 at St. James Catholic Church with Father John A. Schultz officiating. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home and an hour prior to services Saturday at the church. There will be a 6:30 p.m. Parish Prayer Service Friday at the funeral home.\r\n \r\n
