Barbara J. "Barbie Doll" Jennings, age 81, of Eau Claire, died on Saturday, December 24, 2022, at her residence. Barb was born in Chippewa Falls, WI on September 17, 1941 to Donald and Maurita (Thornton) Fredrickson. Barb married Patrick Devney and together raised 5 daughters. She later married Claire "Wally" Jennings. She worked as a bookkeeper for Devney Excavating and a housekeeper at the Eau Claire Civic Center. She was fun loving with a silly sense of humor. In her early years she loved motorcycle riding, camping, dancing and live music. She will be deeply missed by her family. Barb is survived by her daughters Chris Devney, Vicki (Dennis) Hoffman, Rita Patrow; grandchildren, Patrick (Amber) Lien, Michael (Sara) Lien, Amy (David) Hughes, Chad Drinkwine, Joleen (Larry) Olson, Tony (Lindsay) Drinkwine, Nakia Hestekin, Stacy (Mitch) Tibbits, Matthew Blodgett, Brandi Nicolai, Adam (Ann) Haas, Heidi Haas, Keli Haas, Scott Patrow, Austin Patrow, Jennifer (Elijah) Anderson and Jake Ayers; 18 great-grandchildren; siblings, Patsy Minto, Carol Vacca, Chuck Fredrickson, Sandy (Jim) Findley; several nieces and nephews. She is preceded by her parents, husband, Wally; daughters, AnnMarie DuLac and Linda Devney; grandson Derrick Devney Yonkovich. The family would like to thank Mayo Clinic Hospice, Eau Claire. A Graveside Service will be held on January 9, 2023, with Jody Hagedorn officiating at Forest Hill Cemetery, Eau Claire, WI.
