Barbara A. Warner, 46, of 3704 Timber Creek Ct., Eau Claire, died Tuesday, November 27, 2001 at Oakwood Villa in Altoona as a result of cancer. She was born December 3, 1954 to Robert and Mildred (Kautza) Manlick in Marshfield. \r\nBarb grew up in Auburndale and graduated from Auburndale High School in 1973. She then attended Chippewa Valley Technical College in Eau Claire.\r\nBarb married Doug Warner on September 16, 1978 at Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd in Eau Claire. In 1984, Barb and Doug moved to Pine City, MN, where they purchased a Coast to Coast Hardware Store. They sold their store in 1994 and returned to Eau Claire, where she became employed at Pleasant Company. She was a member of First Lutheran Church.\r\nSurvivors include her husband, Doug; her parents Robert and Mildred Manlick of Auburndale; two sisters, Janet (Arthur) Schill of Auburndale, Karleen (Lee) Darling of Hales Corners; her brother James (Judy) Manlick of St. Francis; her father and mother-in-law, Clare and Angeline Warner of Eau Claire; and three brothers-in-law, Charles C. Warner of Eau Claire, William (Kathy) Warner of Jackson, WY, and Donald (Leanne) Warner of Ham Lake, MN; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends; and her cocker spaniel, Brittany. \r\nShe was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Manlick in infancy, and Donna Manlick.\r\nFuneral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, December 1, 2001 at First Lutheran Church with Rev. Dr. Duane C. Pederson officiating. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery in the Town of Washington. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home and an hour prior to services Saturday at the church.\r\nFamily requests memorials please be directed to First Lutheran Church, The Eau Claire County Humane Association or the American Cancer Society.
